Werner´s father
was a professional musician, and discovered his son's talents very early.
Werner started practicing piano by the age of six years, and soon joined
an orchestra. Werner even joined the music corps while in the Army. |

1968
- 1969 Justice of Peace
|
Werner studied music,
but quit after he received an offer to become a member of the Hannover-band
"Justice of Peace". That was from 1968 to 1969. Peter Panka was the singer; Klaus Hess the bass player and Werner played sax. Playing clubs on monthly basis wasn't easy.. |

Since
1970 jane
|
In 1970 "Justice Of Peace" became JANE and Werner switched from playing saxophone to Hammond organ while Klaus Hess played guitar. | |

1972-1975
Lady
|
Between 1972 and
1975 Werner formed his own band "Lady".
His guitar player at the time was Matthias Jabs
(now in "Scorpions"). For more than
two years Lady was constantly on German TV.
Werner later toured with the
British cult singer "Casey |

1982
"Warlock"
|
In 1982 Werner became the keyboarder for the Rock Ballet "Warlock", which was extremely successful in Germany. | |
